What Grandpa did to his arm and how to skin a catfish

Thursday night while 'becca and I were at dog Grandpa had a little accident with the belt sander. What happened was that Grandpa was holding the sander upside down because he was sanding a handle. Well the handle preceded to slip and.......now all of those that use sanders can just imagine this happening.......he got part of his arm ripped off. Now most of you will be saying gross but I've gotten used to it by now. This was the first time that its happened with a sander most of the time its just a knife or something like that but as people say there's always a first for everything! So here is a picture. You don't have to look at it if you don't want to but you can.

Kinda gross right? This is after 4 days so it looks
a little better. I thought I shouldn't put a REALLY
gross picture on.

Just a lesson learned for everyone - NEVER have a sander between your legs and sanding something - you can see why not!

So I received 3 votes yes to put up the story of how we skin the catfish. So here goes.

First you take the fish and hit it on the head with a hammer until it doesn't move
Second you cut the skin all the way around the fish right in front of the fin
Third you nail the fish to a table or board whatever your using
Fourth you pull the skin off the fish
Fifth you cut of the flays
Sixth you wash the flays
Seventh you cook the fish
Eighth you enjoy a catfish dinner!!!

There you go!!! I'll keep you posted on what happens and put up a new picture of grandpas arm in about a week.

I've actually used sanders a lot, and "Just a lesson learned for everyone - NEVER have a sander between your legs and sanding something" made me laugh. I think I've done that before. :P

  2. Yeah well I advise that you don't do it again. Although it would be kinda funny if now we went and did it. Kinda like how you tell my brother not to do something and then he does it a minute later.
